Lebanese Hummus Recipe

I have a really easy and delicious recipe that I like to share with you. It's a recipe for hummus. You need:
- a can of chick peas
-one garlic clove
-2 tablespoons of tahini sauce
-half a lemon juice fresh
-One tablespoon of olive oil for mixing and more for garnish
-salt
-1/4 teaspoon of cumin

Put the chick peas drained in a blender along with the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt and mix well for about 3 minutes. pour into a deep plate, sprinkle with olive oil and add cumin for garnish. you can also add shopped tomato pieces in the middle as a garnish also.

  1. I need to make some adjustments to the recipe. I would put the chick peas with the water from the can on the stove and and let it boil for 1 to 2 minutes then put it in the blender with the tahini sauce, fresh lemon, garlic, salt, cumin and 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mix well for about 2 to 3 minutes.
    if the hummus came out too thick then you can add little lemon juice or olive oil.
    If the hummus came out too soft then add more tahini sauce.

  3. Hi Dana, thank you for viewing my blog, the dish next to the hummus is toasted pita bread in the oven and cut into squares. Make sure that you slice the bread before you toasted. Enjoy
