2 and 1/2 cups of sugar
2 cups of water
2 teaspoon of lemon juice
2 teaspoon orange blossom water (from any middle east market)
Mix sugar, water and lemon juice in a pan on medium heat. Once it starts to boil, turn the heat to low and let it boil for about 18 minutes. If you like a thick syrup then let it boil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Turn the heat off, put orange blossom water, remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
